1.College and club coaches
- Use profiles, the finder and team pages to evaluate and recruit players.
- Copy the parent or guardian when you write, and follow the contact rules for your division and the player’s age. Please don’t contact players under 13 directly; write to the parent.
- Keep messages about recruiting. No harassment, pressure or requests for private information.
- Please don’t copy profiles in bulk, build databases from them, or add players to mailing lists.
2.Families and players
- Keep it accurate: real stats, real teams, no invented offers or commitments.
- Share only photos and video you have the right to share, and respect other players who appear in them.
- Use a recruiting email a parent can also check.
3.Recruiting Hub members
- Drafts are AI-assisted. Read and edit each one, and make sure every fact is true, before you send it.
- You send from your own email. One program per email, and up to 3 follow-ups per program, each with something new.
- Stop writing to anyone who asks you to. Use the directory only for your own player’s recruiting, never for marketing or bulk email.
- Keep your family access code private.
5.Brands, sponsors and advisors
- The “reach this family” box sends your message to the player’s parent or guardian. Families decide; NextUp doesn’t screen or endorse brands.
- Any paid or gifted post by a player must be clearly labeled (for example “#ad” or “Paid partnership with [Brand]”) in the post itself.
- No offers for products that can’t legally be sold or marketed to minors, such as alcohol, tobacco or vapes, cannabis, firearms or gambling, and nothing aimed at children under 13.
- Families: check your school, state association and NCAA rules before accepting any NIL deal, and get advice on contracts for a minor.
- Sponsors never appear inside coach views, and we never share player data with sponsors.
6.Everyone
- No scraping, harvesting or bulk copying of profiles, emails or the directory.
- No impersonation, spam, malware, or attempts to get into accounts or admin areas.
- No content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, or that exposes a young person’s private information.
7.Reporting and what we do
Report anything through the update, removal and report form. We review reports within 2 business days, and may remove content, block senders, or close access for anyone who breaks these guidelines or our Terms.
